Our family recently enjoyed a delightful 7-night retreat at the Alcantara Natura Country House. Situated on a hill, the drive to reach the resort was exciting, offering stunning views of the valley and the Ionian Sea below. The warm hospitality of Tino and Rosalba made our stay truly memorable. Upon arrival, we were swiftly accommodated, a relief after a long journey with our little one. The owners were attentive to our needs, ensuring the comfort of our youngest member with a cot and a kettle ready for warming baby food. The serenity of the surroundings, encompassed by lush greens and mountains, created a peaceful ambiance, perfect for a family getaway.The breakfast, lovingly prepared by Rosalba, was a highlight each morning, setting a delightful tone for the day ahead. Our children had a blast in the well-maintained swimming pool area, while the family room equipped with a kitchenette was a convenient option for preparing simple meals. The owners' homemade dinners were a culinary delight, showcasing the authentic flavors of the region.In conclusion, if you seek tranquility, superb hospitality, and delicious homemade meals within proximity to attractions like Taormina and the Alcantara Gorge, this family-friendly retreat comes highly recommended.
